That was a bit more exciting than one would hope
for. We have espied what the Prussians and Russians wished to keep
hidden. Dr Fate seems to have been developing a train that can adjust
for any gauge track. As well as working on his preposterous rocket
balloon, his design is clearly flawed. Anyone with half a brain can see
that. Professor Rok was also working on a rocket battery. His
design is better than Dr Fate’s but he insists on using kerosene as a
propellant. Kerosene is viable as long as you have all your seals
tight, one small leak and it’s a catastrophic failure. His
biggest sin was in keeping more than 7000 gallons of a highly flammable
liquid in a wooden building in the middle of town next to a train yard.
The opera was quite well preformed I am happy that we made it back to
Potsdorf in good time to attend.
