Monday, 6 September
Mrs. Fraizer, Mr. OFlaherty, and Mrs. Salmaline ventured off to Prussia
in the night. I will have to make shift with Mrs. Wooster, Namastie and
Miss. Pinker as chaperones. This morning we are off to visit Herr
Shultz’s Toy Factory then I hope to call upon Master Zacharias. This
evening is the Queen’s Reception I am still undecided on which dress I
am going to wear. I will ask Miss Pinker, that should give us something
to talk about on the trip into town.
Tuesday, 7 September
Yesterday was more eventful than we planed upon. We started with some
poor soul blowing himself up trying to kill us. Then we were late to
Herr Shultz’s we almost missed to reading. He delighted over the
clockwork tiger. I even got him to ride around on it once. Then Master
Zacharias’ footman would not let us in to see him. The Ball was
marvelous my feet still tingle from dancing. .
