Monday,
3 May late afternoon
The Slice has proven the concept of the steam vortex turbine engine is
viable. As was previously mentioned we can not run it at full speed.
During the maneuvers today we eclipsed 45 knots. I have designed a new
device for measuring the speed of a ship at sea. But I seem to have
misplaced the drawing I made of it and the new rudder system for the
slice. I ruined another dress today I must confess I didn't notice how
the blood was soaking in until after all the wounded were cared for.
Until we get back to civilization I will limit myself to Saree and
trousers The brown and the greens ones in any case will not show the
travel stains as much.
Tuesday, 4 May
After the events of this morning I can see several places where the
powered diving suits could be improved. If the Lt wishes to continue to
use one I will have to design a simplified control system. We are
currently waiting on moonrise for the next leg of this journey. I
wonder what it's like on the moon.
Later
We are back from the moon the sword is now in our possession. Mother
had it all along. I have met Captain Nemo and he has promised to show
me his ballast tanks. There is a fleet of ships sailing in our
direction there are too many things to do and not enough time to
do them in.
Proceed to Lack of
proper facilities
