Davy has been kidnaped the cowards
are hiding in a swamp and we are in pursuit, I will write more
when we have him back.
The kidnappers seemed to have mesmerized Davy and he is helping them. We tracked them to a barge in the swamp and had everything under control until the Prussians showed up. Davy escaped in some sort of flying boat. Mrs Frazer has given birth to two healthy babies.
August 3, 1871
Spent part of the day removing a spent
bullet from Mrs Salmaline's shoulder, She wanted to give it to
Lt Wooster as a reminder not to shoot wildly, but was talked out
of it. Later that evening we encountered a former employee of
Grandfather who is now in the pay of Rusty Nial Malloy. That jumped
up bungler wants to take over where Grandfather left off, He will
come to a bad end in that endeavor. But more to the point he is
threatening Mrs Frazer and Mrs Salmaline as well as the children.
I will have to do something about him before someone gets hurt.
