As I sit and write this both Miss Sinclair and Miss Whitnell are vexed at me. I don't see why. we had discovered a weapon of unimaginable power, we had to leave in a hurry. Therefor it had to be destroyed. The only thing I had at my disposable to destroy it was an autunite battery. I had not been informed of one of the peculiarities of autunite is that two pieces exploded together will produce more total energy than two pieces exploded separately. Sir C does not know where this extra energy comes from. The explosion was quite spectacular even two miles away the ground shook like the deck of a ship in a storm. Here comes Miss Sinclair I need to put my pantograph away.
