Edward got fitted for a new set of clothing today. He was quite
upset, he said he would rather have the ghost choking him again
than wear a starched collar.
April 27, 1870
Edward does look quite dashing in his new clothing, he is off
to the ball with the rest of the household it's strangely quiet
around here.

Edward was quite lucky last night, There was a card game going
when he arrived in the kitchen he quickly noticed that the deck
was marked and started to mark cards at random in the same manner.
The cheater was soon forced to have to rely on luck. Edward also
mentioned that Miss Namaste was "A Lady of great importance
from India." Several of the servants hearing this leapt to
the conclusion that she was foreign royalty and the rumor mill
did the rest. I confiscated Edwards winnings: 1 pound 6 shillings
and 8 pence.
