Things we need to look into:
1. Schmidt and his associates probably have a base of operations in Metz. Where to look? Ladeau's home? Associates?
2. Dr. Jeffers was not with the party at the church tower. 'Wizard of Ballistics' may be pursuing same mission as McThorne & Co.
3. When we neutralized Schmidt, he regrouped in 'Faerie Veil' -- is there a way to take the fight there to cut off his retreat?
4. Who kidnapped Miss Haverson?
5. Might Count Rugin still be following Wooster in hopes of capturing battery? Dr. Wilson?
6. Dr. Fate eluded capture in Belgium. Where has he gone? Who is he taking orders from? Was McThorne involved in the same faction or a competing one?
7. Who stole Edward's machine from the cart?
8. Prussian gun formidable, but immobility makes it easy target for aerofrigates. Not like von Moltke not to have thought of that. What other surprises do they have?
9. Bopp, beside being an advesary, is a cold-blooded murderer. Can't be ignored.
Things I need to do:
1. Make time to sit in the garden with Namaste, Edward and others. Been far too busy the last several days.
2. Send report to A.
3. Send note to Peacock and Maynooth. Report
status and inquire after messenger, captives.
4. Write notes to Graves, Greyminster, Miss
Pinker, and Icky. Who knows when the mail will arrive in London,
but must make effort.
5. Discuss list with league; make decision.
