Excerpts from the diary of Mrs Emily Wooster (Emily Bertilde that was)

Friday, 10 September

I can't afford to lose my job.  I can't afford to lose my job.  I can't afford to lose my job....

Lady C is crazy!

My Husband almost died and left me alone with Them!

Me and Them almost died!

I hate balloons and rockets and Husbands climbing up ropes and almost running into mountains said balloons blowing up (after we get out, thank heavens) and weddings and having to play politics and not being able to properly hit people.  Although the hunt was quite nice.  And the look on the bridegroom's face when he saw us was priceless.   And I have a fan.  So I guess the trip isn't a total loss.

But I'm so happy to be back on the ground.  I just wish I could expect that this was the last time time the scary would happen.  And my children are going to be growing up around these people?

Yarg.

Proceed to I'm going to be in so much trouble!
