I’d put a
date on, but we’re back in the more normal world now and I have no clue
what date it is.
In any case, I survived the double capsize move to get back to the
battle. I pray I never need do that manouver again.
Several members of our party (including Wilamina) launched in Rocket
Kites to get to the pirate fleet faster. Even though a few of the
group (including Wilamina) urged me to learn to use the rocket kites,
but I refused. I don’t care how safe they are, I am NOT going in
one.
No, I was in the boarding party. The plan was for our boat to ram
Woo Chong’s boat and for me and several of the marines to go on and
clear the deck.
Himself eventually went up in a rocket kite. I told Him if He
died I’d kill Him. He doesn’t seem to have died, so I don’t need
to make good on my threat.
In any case, I had a jolly fight. One of the marines was quite
good with his saber. I should spar with him sometime. I can
tell that I need it because I was hit and injured at least once.
I don’t quite remember when. But that often happens when the
fight is on.
There was a whole lot of other things going on including crane/girl
demon things fighting us, a whole pirate fleet trying to take us on,
and Lady C (with Atlas and Captain Sparrow) killing Woo Chong. I
guess he was really hard to kill. There was also one point when
Lady C suddenly started glowing and I felt better. That was a
wondrous thing. The rest of the British Navy showed up around the
time we finished up. Good timing. There was a whole lot of
talking after that, but I was tired and didn’t pay attention.
Maybe my clumsyness during battle was due to my condition rather than
clumsyness. I think that must also be why I’m so
tired. I think I shall go nap now.
-later-
Things get stranger and stranger. We went to gather for dinner (I
couldn’t believe how ravenous I was!) and suddenly several members of
our party just dissappeared. Lady C, Wilamina, Atlas, Captain
Neemo, Captain Sparrow, and that Oddbody fellow were just gone. I
guess I wasn’t sticking close enough to Wilamina this time. I
mean I wouldn’t want to end up on another one of those angel ships
again, but how can I guard Wilamina if she goes disappearing on
me? Or Lady C for that matter? Oh, I hope I don’t get fired
over this!
